Hi, I'm Cris.

I'm a PADI Divemaster, superyacht watersports instructor and RYA-qualified deckhand, and the ocean is where I'm happiest.

When I'm not working on the water, I'm surfing, freediving, spearfishing or out on a boat with a line in. I shoot underwater video too, which comes in handy for capturing guests' best moments.

I've skippered canal and river cruises, led dives for international groups in Mozambique and worked a busy seasonal bar. Right now I'm training as a diesel mechanic, so I'm happy to get my hands dirty when an engine needs attention.

What I bring aboard

Diving

PADI Divemaster, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air and AWARE Shark Diver. I've led groups of up to 14 divers, and I can film the dive too.

Deck & tenders

RYA Powerboat Level 2, Tender Operator, PWC, VHF and Radar, plus Day Skipper theory and a deckhand course. Skippered guest cruises from 2022 to 2024.

Watersports

Superyacht Watersport Instructor and RYA PW Instructor. Surf, wakeboard or jet ski, I'll get your guests up and riding.

Safety first

STCW 2010, EFR Primary and Secondary Care with AED, and PADI Rescue Diver.

Guest experience

Bartending, guest relations and sales, plus years of guiding and commentary on cruises. I know how to give a group a great day.

Hands-on mechanical

Trainee diesel mechanic. I service engines and heavy machinery, and strip and rebuild hydraulic cylinders and differentials.
